Now that the hashtag #TalkPay is trending on Twitter, I thought it would be appropriate to share my story about salary negotiation as a woman.
Here’s the excerpt from my article published over at Femsplain:
“Why do you think we hired you? Everyone can speak English nowadays. You’re not the only translator in the market. We hired you because you’re young and easy on the eyes. We don’t hire fat people because they don’t look good in skirts.”
